Julie Abadie

Julie Abadie was born in Athens, Greece. She is a talented and accomplished artist with a diverse background in art and design. Julie graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués in Paris and later attended the Cleveland Institute of Art in the United States. She was admitted based on her title in the final year and received the Merit Award from the Society of Illustrators in New York.

Julie has been a prolific creator, author, and painter. Since 1969, she has worked with the prestigious Maison Hermès in Paris, where she has designed and hand-painted numerous scarf designs. Her most recent collection was released in the Spring-Summer of 2015. In addition to her work with Hermès, Julie also creates personal and intimate oil paintings that often feature themes of the sea, sensual forms in water, seashells, pebbles, and the captivating allure of the Greek seas.
