Bandhini is an artisanal resist dyeing procedure. The scarf is printed in our Lyon workshops before being embroidered with more than 3000 precisely positioned small knots and plunged in a bath of natural indigo dye. The knots are then carefully untied, revealing undyed fabric, which in turn reveals the colours of the Brazil feathers.
