Based on a visual interplay at the limits of abstraction and figurative art, this carré is an innovative, chic, contemporary reworking of an iconic Hermès motif created in 1938, inspired by a ship’s anchor chain: bold, clean lines create a sporty feel. The fine striations decorating the chain links and surrounding frame are evocative, too, of motor racing circuits.
